tri-state university men's and women's cross country and track team coaches

Mike Cole enters his second season as the head coach of the men’s and women’s swimming teams, as well as the men’s and women’s cross country and track teams. Coach Cole graduated from Ball State University in 1999 with a degree in physical education and a minor in aquatics. While at Ball State, Cole was a member of the track and cross-country teams, and a collegiate national qualifier on the Ball State cycling team. He was a member of the USA team that competed in the 1999 Duathlon World Championships in Huntersville, NC. He was also a member of the USA relay team that competed in Nigata, Japan. Prior to Tri-State, Cole taught physical education at Calumet High School in Gary, IN, where he was also the boys’ and girls’ varsity swimming and diving coach, the distance running coach for track and the cross country coach.
