Coach Maddock

Bill Maddock begins his fourth season as TSU’s head men’s and women’s tennis coach. Coach Maddock started the men’s and women’s swim teams at Tri-State University in 1998 and served as the swimmers’ head coach for the past three seasons. He was named NAIA Great Lakes Region Coach of the Year in 1999 and took the women’s tennis team to their first-ever NAIA National Tournament. Both the men’s and women’s tennis teams qualified for the NAIA Regional Tournament in 2001. Before coming to Tri-State, Coach Maddock served as the boys’ and girls’ tennis coach at Sturgis High School in Sturgis, MI, and he was the women’s tennis coach at Albion College. He has also served as a tennis director at several clubs and community centers. Coach Maddock earned his bachelor’s degree from Slippery Rock University in Slippery Rock, PA, and his master’s degree at the University of Tennessee in Knoxville, TN.
