What is biology?
Biology is the study of living organisms: animals, plants and microorganisms.
 
What careers do biology majors enter?
A graduate of TSU’s biology program find a job as a
a Lab technician (industrial and governmental agencies)
a Health safety specialist
a Sales/technical support staff member
 
 Why study biology at TSU?
Along with a dedicated faculty and state-of-the art equipment, Tri-State is a career oriented university which encourages students to pursue multiple majors and minors. With the help of academic advisors within the Science Department, a student can tailor a four-year bachelor’s degree to meet his/her career objectives. For example, a student interested in pharmaceutical sales or support might major in biology and minor in business.
