Science education is a course of study for students who want to teach life and/or physical sciences at the middle or high school levels.
 
What careers do science education majors enter?
Any institution or organization that wishes to teach young people about science may hire science education graduates to be a
aScience teacher at the middle or high school level
aSchool administrator
aScience educator in a science museum, zoo, etc.
 
Why study science education at TSU?
The Science Education Degree program is taught through a collaboration of Tri-State University’s Science Department and its School of Education. The Science Department provides scientific knowledge. The School of Education provides the tools and techniques of teaching. Instructors from both the department and the school serve as models of committed and caring educators.  With the help of his/her academic advisor, a Tri-State student starting in the program is assured of completing a degree in 4-41/2 years.
