Our institution was recently elevated by the Higher Learning Commission of the North Central Association from an undergraduate to graduate degree-granting institution. This is in recognition and approval of TSU's first graduate program, the Master of Science in Engineering Technology.

Our athletic pages feature the University’s 18 intercollegiate sports programs and the teams that have proven to be powerhouses in the NAIA and the Wolverine-Hoosier Athletic Conference. The success of our athletic programs in the NAIA has promoted Tri-State’s transition to the NCAA, Division III. Tri-State is currently participating in the NCAA Exploratory year and will become provisional members of the NCAA and full members of the Michigan Intercollegiate Athletic Association in fall 2004.
