Tri-State University provides a tremendous opportunity for current students, as well as those attending other institutions throughout the U.S., to accelerate their program of study by completing courses outside of the regular academic year.
We offer an extensive selection of required undergraduate courses every summer. These courses are offered in either 6 or 12-week formats from mid-May through early August. Courses that would meet for three hours a week for 15 weeks during fall or spring semesters meet for 7.5 hours per week for 6 weeks during summer term or 3.25 hours per week for 12 weeks.
Non-TSU students are welcome to register as non-degree (seeking) students for the summer term. The application process for non-degree students is simple. We recommend that a non-TSU student who wishes to enroll in summer courses at TSU get permission in writing from his or her home institution that the selected courses will apply toward the student’s degree program. This may be a good way to catch up on missed courses, get ahead for future semesters, or clear space in fall or spring for an internship or study abroad experience sponsored by the home institution.
