TRI-STATE UNIVERSITY UNDECIDED STUDENTS:
FINDING THE MAJOR THAT IS RIGHT FOR YOU
The primary goal of a TSU education is to prepare you for an outstanding career. Our experienced faculty, small classes, state-of-the-art facilities, residential campus, and personal, practical education all contribute to enabling you to discover the best major to achieve this goal. By accepting our offer of admission you will be joining a century-old tradition of academic excellence and an educational experience that has prepared our graduates for life-long careers in engineering, criminal justice, business, science, education, communication, research, government, and sports management, among others.
Having so many educational options can lead to a daunting task in deciding on the best major for you. To provide additional time to make this very important decision, we offer the option to declare yourself undecided in regards to an academic major. The undecided designation affords you the time to explore over 35 majors among the university’s four schools: the Jannen School of Arts and Sciences, Ketner School of Business, Franks School of Education, and Allen School of Engineering and Technology. If you elect to begin your studies in this way, you will initially be assigned to the Jannen School of Arts & Sciences; the undecided designation granting the entire freshman year to decide upon and declare an academic major.
For those who would like more time to decide on a major to pursue, I invite you to enroll at Tri-State University as undecided. Explore various fields of study in which you are interested. Meet and become familiar with the faculty working within those fields, and ultimately make the most informed decision possible concerning your future studies here.
Best wishes on your academic experience at Tri-State University!
