Tri-State University was founded in 1884, in Angola, Indiana, a town in a lake resort area of northeastern Indiana. Fort Wayne, a medium-sized city, is less than one hour away. The major cultural opportunities, professional arts and sport entertainment of Chicago, Detroit and Cleveland are only about three hours away by automobile.
