Listed below are the jobs available for students in Math/Computer Science. Grader JOB TITLE/DEPARTMENT: Grader, Math/Computer Science PAY RATE: Minimum Wage. HOURS: 10-15 hours per week, on the student’s time. DUTIES: Graders will grade homework, quizzes and exams. They will be responsible for keeping a spreadsheet of homework point totals for each assignment. SKILLS REQUIRED: Must know the Microsoft Office Suite applications. QUALIFICATIONS: GPA 3.0+; Second semester sophomore status, must have taken at least 3 computer classes beyond CS103, must be work-study eligible. DUTIES: Work with supervising Math instructor regarding grading preferences. Return graded homework in a timely fashion. SKILLS REQUIRED: Excellent mathematics skills. QUALIFICATIONS: High academic grades in mathematics. STUDENTS NEEDED: 1-3, position available till December 2007. HOURS: Hours per week vary depending on the amount of work, approximately 5-10 hours per course. DUTIES: Grade homework papers and brief quizzes. Graders needed for three different courses, including MA 123: Trigonometry, MA134: Calculus 1, MA 233: Differential Equations. SKILLS REQUIRED: Ability to complete work on time and communicate effectively if work is not going to be completed on time. Ability to follow instructions concerning points awarded and comments. QUALIFICATIONS: Must have earned an A in the course to be graded or higher level mathematics course. Prefer student who is work study eligible.
