JOB TITLE/DEPARTMENT: ABC Mentor, Steuben County Literacy Coalition PAY RATE: $8.00/hour. DUTIES: Provide one-to-one literacy related activities using HOSTS program and other supplemental materials to preschool children in aid to Kindergarten readiness. SKILLS REQUIRED: Attend training, respect confidentiality, be dependable, have good communication skills, and be able to role model positive attitude and behavior. QUALIFICATIONS: High school diploma or GED. Must be work study eligible. HOURS: 4-6 hours per week, afternoons preferred. DUTIES: Provide one-on-one tutoring, subjects including math, reading, and the English language, for children. SKILLS REQUIRED: Attend training, respect confidentiality, be dependable, have good communication skills, and be able to role model positive attitude and behavior. QUALIFICATIONS: High school diploma or GED, positive attitude, strong level of interest, and ability to undergo training. Must be work study eligible.
