Alumni Mentor Program

You all remember the difficulties when you first arrived.  Some had difficulty speaking, some didn’t know the first thing to do the day they arrived, and some were just plain home sick to even think about anything else.  It is no different with students coming in each year.  This coming fall, we hope to support the incoming students by providing them with advice you all were hoping for as a young student.  Who better than the alumni themselves?

As an alumni, you have the opportunity to give back by becoming a mentor and helping the current international students at Tri-State University.  Give them the practical advice, academic advice, networking assistance, and career development support you would have appreciated. For those of you who do not live nearby, you may also participate by e-mail or help students who live in your area when they return home for vacations.

We look forward to receiving your feedback, hearing your ideas and working together to get an effective mentoring system going, as well as strengthening the alumni network.
