SOAR
IS FOR PARENTS
AND GUESTS TOO
Parents and support providers are very important resources for students throughout college, particularly in the first year. SOAR allows you to experience TSU in depth and gain information that can assist you and your student in the future.
PROGRAM FEES
The cost for SOAR is $20 per person. This fee includes a continental breakfast, lunch, program materials, and refreshments.
SESSION SELECTION
TSU will make every reasonable effort to honor your session requests; however, space is limited for each session so we can better assist new students. Therefore, reservations are accepted on a first-come, firstserved basis. The last date to register for SOAR is Friday, June 13.
HOW TO REGISTer ONLINE
The Questionnaire for New Students will be used by your academic adviser to determine your preliminary class schedule. Feel free to include comments (in the space provided at the end of the form) you feel would help us make appropriate course recommendations. Many students find it helpful to discuss these questions with their parents or spouses before completing the questionnaire. Please answer ALL form questions. You must pay your enrollment deposit before registering. If you have not already done so please do so before registering for SOAR. You will be sent confirmation of your assigned session within two weeks of receiving your completed Questionnaire for New Students and program fee. To register for SOAR and complete your Questionnaire for New Students proceed to our online registration.
If you cannot attend SOAR, please contact the Office of Admission
at 800.347.4878.
WE LOOK FORWARD TO SEEING YOU AT TSU!
