Twenty-three students from the countries of Japan, China, Korea, and Saudi Arabia joined the TSU community this fall. Gail Lugo has been hired as the director and an instructor for the university’s English Language Center. Her international teaching experience and advanced linguistics degree will enable her to equip the international students to perform in an English-speaking college classroom. International Coordinator Mari Williams helps international students with their cultural adjustment by acquainting them with procedures, customs, and routines of American life.
