You are probably aware that many changes are taking place on campus including new facilities (the University Center and Center for online Technology) and the refurbishing of older buildings (the Trine Welcome Center in Forman Hall, plus work on the administration building now known as C.W. Sponsel Administrative Center). Likewise, the University was just visited by the North Central Accreditation Team, and we have been approved with no return visits by the Committee for ten years. This is a major move forward since the last visit in 1996. Our Fort Wayne campus is in a new facility on I-69 north, and we have additional sites in Howe, Kendallville, South Bend, Merriville, Ft Wayne, and Angola. The Vision for the Future campaign, with a goal of $70,000,000 by December 2009, stands now at $56,000,000. The campaign has increased endowment, especially endowed scholarships, and has provided over $2,000,000 for capital improvements annually. Last fall in October, we had the largest turn out anyone could remember for the Alumni Homecoming banquet with over 360 people in attendance.
