After three years as an adjunct professor in the TSU English department, Professor Brandy DePriest earned faculty status in August 2007. She intends to begin her PhD in American Culture Studies in 2009. Teaching English composition has allowed her to encourage TSU students of all majors to diversify their experiences by getting out into the local community whether it is by interviewing locals or by volunteering their time. In her spare time, Brandy loves getting outdoors with her family: Kayaking, camping and hiking are some of their favorites. |
