Professor Timothy Hopp, who is currently finishing a dissertation
in composition studies, teaches both writing and theater
courses. Outside of class, he enjoys directing and designing
productions with the Drama Club, volunteering with Habitat
for Humanity, and kayaking in local lakes.
Internal Accomplishments (service)
• Directed and supervised the university’s Writing
Center, including special hours for student athletes
• Presented information during coaches’ meeting
during orientation
• Participated on the TEPAC committee during NCATE’s
visit
• Served on the Assessment Committee, presiding over
the general education summer workshop
• Attended SOAR during the summer
• Co-advised Drama Club with Chris Barr email: tsudrama@tristate.edu
• Designed, directed and produced “The Complete Works of William Shakespeare" with Drama Club in Fabiani Theatre. "The Complete Works of William Shakespeare” received front page coverage with the Herald-Republican and sold out two of four nights, with a large number of attendees coming from the community.
• Designed, directed and produced “The Butler Did It" and "Death Knocks" with Drama Club
• Led a group to see Fort Wayne Civic Theater’s
“Once Upon A Mattress ” as part of the activities related to reactivating
the theater Honor Society at TSU
• Participated with groups traveling to Habitat for
Humanity in Brewton, Alabama
• Worked with IT to develop solutions for sound and lights for Fabiani Theatre
External Accomplishments/Activities
• Serving on board of Habitat for Humanity of Steuben County
• Worked independently with the LaGrange Chapter of Habitat for Humanity
