About 60 years ago, the discovery of antibiotics revolutionized
the treatment of diseases and affected hundreds of lives. Medicine
today is on the verge of yet another revolution with cellular
and molecular treatments. With current advances in modern medicine,
students need a strong foundation in bioscience, up-to-date knowledge
in the field, along with a comprehensive background in chemistry,
physics, and technology.
Tri-State University’s Science Department will provide
you with a rigorous yet pertinent and meaningful education. Students
receive a thorough understanding and comprehension of the principles
of science to prepare them for medical school. You may opt to
do undergraduate research by taking a special problems or capstone
course. Further, TSU has the laboratory instrumentation to answer
most analytical chemistry questions, a key to your preparation
for and success in medical school.
