The Tri-State University Music/Education/Communications building offers many opportunities for the music student. From its large ensemble rehearsal areas to its student lounge and practice rooms, the MEC building will be a place students will feel comfortable and enjoy the environment. Students will also enjoy the soon to be added Wenger V-Room Practice Modules. These practice “rooms” will allow students to have a total of 9 different acoustical environments available to them at the push of a button.

Taylor Hall and Wells Theatre
Taylor Hall is one of two original buildings of Tri-State Normal College. It houses Wells Theatre which is an intimate performing venue for solos, ensembles and recitals.

Best Hall and Best Auditorium
Best Hall of Science houses a 225 seat auditorium ideal for mid size instrumental ensembles and chorus concerts.

University Center
Scheduled to open in August of 2007 is the new University Center. It will feature a 325 seat theatre, a serpentine mall and coffee shop where small ensembles like the Distant Thunder Jazz Combo can entertain on special occasions.
