Music Scholarships are available to everyone performing in the music ensembles at Tri-State University. To be awarded a scholarship a student must schedule an on campus interview and consultation with the Director of Music. A performance audition is not required but the student must bring a letter of recommendation from his or her previous ensemble director or applied studies teacher to the interview. Starting in the fall of 2008 students can receive a $1,000 annual scholarship ($500 per semester) for performing in one of the Tri-State University ensembles. The scholarship is available to all Tri-State University students regardless of major or minor.
