 Henry
Smith begins his first season as the head coach for the Tri-State
University softball team. Coach Smith received a bachelor’s degree
from Indiana State University where he played both basketball and
baseball. After college, Coach Smith played semi-professional baseball
for several years before becoming involved in softball. He currently
plays softball in the Senior World Series. Coach Smith earned a
master’s degree in school administration at Ball State University. He
has a total of 33 years of experience in elementary, middle and high
school teaching, and 28 years of experience as an administrator. He
currently lives in Angola with his wife, Karen.
