TSU Athletic Hall of Fame

Tri-State University has a long tradition of excellence in athletics. From the football club and men's and women's basketball teams that competed at the turn of the last century, to the 18 intercollegiate men's and women's teams today, Tri-State has enjoyed success in competition. Although the emphasis is ever on the team accomplishments, individual performances have risen to a level that must be recognized. The TSU Hall of Fame honors the best of the best Thunder athletes.

Hall of Fame Nomination Forms

Purpose
To recognize and honor individuals who have made exemplary contributions to Tri-State University athletics

Criteria for selection

Athlete

A. The nominee must be a graduate (in good standing) of Tri-State University and will be eligible for nomination after a minimum of five (5) years following graduation.

B. The nominee must have earned a minimum of two (2) letters in at least one sport of participation while at Tri-State University.

Coach/athletic administrator

A. The nominee must have served the University a minimum of five (5) years.

B. The nominee may be selected one (1) year after leaving the institution (in good standing).

Other (athletic trainer, student manager, faculty representative, media, announcers, radio, etc.)

A. The nominee must have served the sport(s) program in an exceptional manner and need not be a graduate of Tri-State University.

B. The nominee, if an employee, may be selected one (1) year after leaving the institution (in good standing).

Team

A. The team must have won a conference, or national championship.

B. The team would be eligible ten (10) years following the championship year(s)
