Student Counseling Services (SCS) is a resource for student organizations, faculty, staff, residence life, and other campus groups. The counselor is available to assist in developing and/or facilitating prevention programs and other educational seminars relating to the developmental and psychological well being of students.
Some of the group programs, presentations offered through SCS include the following:
- Personal wellness
- Role modeling
- Assertiveness training
- Anger management
- Women’s program
- Sexual assault prevention
- Self-defense
- Career assessment
- Alcohol awareness
Students are welcome to initiate other types of related seminars or groups as the need arises. SCS is available to assist in these endeavors as well.
