Gas Leak

• Contact Campus Safety at 260.316-1877
• If there is a strong odor of gas or hissing noise from gas lines, leave area immediately and call 911
• Keep others from entering area
• Do not re-enter until emergency or University personnel give you permission
   

Power Failure

• Keep flashlight, battery operated radio and extra batteries available.
• Know your building's evacuation procedures.
• Follow the instructions of emergency or University personnel.
• Limit movement around the building and between floors.
• Turn off all unnecessary equipment and lights, including computer equipment, to protect against possible power surge.
• Be aware of possible fire and smoke.
• Matches, candles or any other open flame devices are strictly prohibited.
