WEAX is TSU’s 1000 watt non-commercial radio station. Via studios in the lower level of Stewart Hall, WEAX broadcasts music, news and student produced programming to communities in northeast Indiana and beyond 24-hours a day. WEAX is also the voice of Thunder sports, including football, basketball, baseball and softball. WEAX provides a hands-on learning environment for select students to learn about radio broadcasting and to gain a better insight into the mass communication process.
