Bio:

His technical specialties on the hardware side of computer engineering: embedded systems, control, and digital signal processing. At GE, he worked on long-distance radar processing, so that the direction and speed of approaching planes could be seen as reflected off the ionosphere.

• Redeveloped ECE 323: Modeling and Analysis as a junior-level course
• Reversed ECE 393: Microcontrollers to require externally-researched essays on theory, with practical work done in class, to take advantage of Wikipedia and supplier Web epages in place of a textbook.
