Dr. Schmucker joined Tri-State University in 2006 and
primarily focuses on structural analysis and design as well
as engineering mechanics. His experience includes assessment
of existing structures as well as design of new facilities,
development of design and/or assessment procedures, design
of repairs and retrofits for existing technical papers,
seminars, and workshops. His work has involved structural
materials such as steel, concrete, masonry, and timber;
and many types of structural systems such as bridges, buildings,
industrial facilities, and offshore platforms.
