| Bio: |
“I teach the geotechnical courses as well
as engineering science courses at the university.
I especially enjoy working with the students in
my classes and getting to know them personally.
I am known as the department 'jokester', and I like
to have fun in my classes. Most of my students simply
call me 'Dr. T,' and some of my friends call me
'T-N-T,' since those are my initials. Sometimes,
I am also known as the 'Dirt Man.' I am a part-time
consultant which helps keep me very current and
up-to-date with the latest technology in my field.
This also allows me to bring into my classes some
'real-world' type problems to challenge the students.
My hobbies include astronomy, golf, playing drums,
and weather forecasting. My family and I are active
members of Cornerstone Family Church in Angola,
and my wife, Lynn, works at the church. Speaking
of my family, my wife and I have two beautiful
daughters, Christie (13 yrs old) and Chelsea (10
yrs old), with whom I spend as much time as possible.
We love living and working in Angola, which is
a great place to obtain your engineering degree.”
