The Department of Technology has at times had students participate in the Co-op program however currently we have no students on Co-op. In lieu of Co-op we have a number of students working for local industries. Some of these industries are:

• Vestil Manufacturing—Angola, Ind.
• Retal Electromate—Fremont, Ind.
• LaGrange Products—Fremont, Ind.
• General Products—Angola, Ind.
• Amcast—Fremont, Ind.

We currently do not have a formal internship program but have had a student work at Zimmer Corporation in Warsaw, Ind. on an internship basis. We are currently working with Cooper in Auburn, Ind. on an internship program.

Career Possibilities

Many of our graduates quickly work their way to CADD Manager positions in the companies where they work. Our graduates have accepted positions with a whole range of industries. There is no one real type of industry where we place our graduates.

It is apparent from this list that we prepare our students to enter any number of industries. I think this fact reflects on the high quality of our program.
