Students in the Department of Technology have had the opportunity to gain valuable experience working for many local industries in the drafting and design field. This work experience has resulted in several students accepting employment with these companies after graduation. With the proximity of several biomedical companies, students have been able to work on design projects in the medical field as part of classroom assignments. The department has actively sought design projects from industry to give the students maximum exposure to how the “real world” functions.
