American Institute of Chemical Engineers

The American Institute of Chemical Engineers (AICHE) student chapter is a group of undergraduate chemical engineering students. With the help of faculty advisor, Dr. Majid Salim, the students take their educational experience outside of the classroom and into industry.

Chartered at TSU in 1973 as the 138th AICHE chapter, our student chapter engages in activities on and off campus in order to expand the scope of the chemical engineering student beyond the classroom.

Activities includes:

  • Plant Tours
    • Abbott Labs
    • Pfizer
    • Armstrong Steam University
    • Eli Lilly
    • Marathon Refinery
