the Department
- As an undergraduate institution our faculty’s only concern
is your success. We have no teaching assistants and an open
door policy for students to ask faculty questions. In addition,
we are all active in research focused on engineering education.
- Here at TSU, we help students find summer research positions
at some of the most prestigious graduate schools across the
country. This allows you to work for a leading scientist in
your field of interest.
- We provide the most comprehensive “hands-on” experience
in chemical engineering in the country. During a student’s
four years of study, they will have a laboratory every semester
and numerous “real-world” projects.
- We have opportunities for students to focus their electives
and obtain a minor in three distinct areas (bioprocess, environmental,
and entrepreneurship).
