Success for TSU computer engineers grows from great project
experiences. We give you authoritative but brief lessons in the
theory of the major, and then set you to a series of beginning,
then intermediate, and finally challenging projects and labs.
We re-enforce theory by giving long, challenging projects
because professors are available long hours every school day—and
often beyond the school day. Since first-quality help is available,
we can (and we do) ask for more realistic projects than you might
find in more crowded settings. We also have lots of available
hardware so that you can explore on your own time, on our equipment.
This causes our students to ask questions—and usually students
learn best when they are asking, instead of memorizing.
