MINOR IN ARCHITECTURAL ENGINEERING

For any student at Tri-State University
27 Credit Hours

The minor in architectural engineering is designed to strengthen the professional capabilities of students interested in building design. Pursuing a minor in architectural engineering can be of interest to civil engineering students who wish to focus on building systems; to mechanical engineering students who wish to learn the application of HVAC systems within the building context; and to chemical engineering students who wish to understand the energy and distribution aspects of process plant design. While the minor is open to any student at Tri-State University, those enrolled in the Civil Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or Chemical Engineering degree programs will require no additional prerequisite courses and will be able to complete both their major and minor in the standard 132 credit hour curriculum.

Those interested in the minor should contact Dr. Ramiro Bravo of the Wade Department of Mechanical and Aerospace Engineering.
