1979-81    Director of  institutional research, ad hoc appointment by
                Tri-State University president. Conducted demographic
                analyses of  attrition and retention rates among the student
                population.

1981-83    Chair, Student Life Committee. Conducted hearings on  major
                disciplinary cases at Tri- State University. Also assisted in the drafting
                of a university alcohol policy.

1990-91    Awarded  McKetta-Smith Excellence in Teaching Award in the
