Fire Fighting Robot Contest

I had a one group of students in my senior design course (Fall 2005 - Spring 2006) who decided to design and build a robot to compete in the Trinity College Fire Fighting Robot Competition.  These were all Mechanical Engineering Students who had never built electronic devices or programmed a microprocessor before.  The students did an excellent job and placed 8th out of a field of 42 teams.  You can download one of the competition runs at Trinity from the link below.
