Online Sessions: Blackboard Training Workshops will be held Monday evenings from 7:30-8:30 PM online.
Breeze (online conferencing application) and Blackboard (course management system) will be used to deliver the online workshops. Breeze will be online presentations faculty can "attend" from a branch campus or from the comfort of their own home. If the faculty member is not able to attend the broadcast sessions, a recorded copy of the presentation can be reviewed at their convenience.
Blackboard provides an asynchronies delivery, allowing faculty to participate on their own time. Our intention is to have TSU faculty actually develop an online course while they are taking the workshop(s). At the end of the workshops the faculty members will be familiar with various types on online learning tools (Blackboard, Breeze, etc) and have a online course ready for offering.
Please email cottinj@tristate.edu if you would like to participate in the online Blackboard Workshops or have any training sessions.
