Please review the questions listed below before contacting Information Technology.

  1. Question: I tried to login to my email box and/or into a lab machine and it said I was locked out, what do I do?
    Answer: Contact the helpdesk at 665.4275 or stop into the computer center in the basement of best hall for assistance.
  2. Question: I am student and my computer crashed, do you offer any computer services for students?
    Answer: Contact the Help Desk at 665.4275 or stop by at the University Center by Fabiani Theater
  3. Question: I am a faculty member who would like to use Blackboard to supplement my traditional course, how do I go about it?
    Answer: You can contact Instructional Technology Services: Julie at 665.4261 or Michael at 665.4260 for individual consultation or visit our online tutorials about Blackboard.
  4. Question: I cannot make several of the workshop times but would still like training. Can I come in for individual help?
    Answer: ITS provides individual training by appointment.
  5. Question: I am a faculty or staff member who's computer has just crashed, who do I contact and when can I expect my computer up and running again.
    Answer: Contact the help line at 260.665.4275 and they will work to get you computer back up asap.
  6. Question: My computer seems to run slower than usual is there anything I can do besides contacting the helpdesk team?
    Answer: Be sure your antispyware/antivirus definitions are up to date, then run a spyware and antivirus scan to remove any malware. If you did this and it still seems slow, consider defragmenting your hard drive. Faculty and staff must contact the helpdesk to schedule a defrag.
