- Subject headings -

- You may search any of these fields (or all of
them) by keyword.
- You may refine your search if you have a particular
title, author or series in mind by limiting your search to the appropriate
field (title, author, etc.)
- A browse search will bring up an alphabetical
list with your term usually in the second line. For example, using
<world war> in a browse subject search will bring up:
World Trade Organization -- Developing countries
World War, 1914-1918 - [LC Authority Record]
World War, 1914-1918 -- Battles, sieges, etc. -[LC Authority Record]
See: World War, 1914-1918 -- Naval operations

- Once you find a record, you may find it contains a
linked subject heading that is more appropriate for your search.
Clink on this heading to retrieve a list of all items in the collection
pertaining to that subject.
