Meeting Minutes: DVD Raffle The raffle raised approximately $240 for the national convention. Winners of the raffle were: Ty Fortman - RCA DVD Player, Nick Buehler - DVD, and Heiman Tool - DVD. Pictures of the raffle are located in the Activities Page. National Convention It was decided that Jim Bauman and Robert Nagel were going to represent us at the National Conference. We should have enough funds after support of the FE Fund and the Convention support along with the raffle money. Also we will be off our probation period with student senate in the next week so we can also start asking for funds from then. Member Certificates The new members received their official Pi Tau Sigma certificates at the meeting also. 1/8/2004 8:00 - Upstairs ME Lounge National Convention: First we ask who wanted to go to the
convention. Tim Heiman, Jared Meyers, Aimee Nagy, and Shawn Wobler
volunteered. Since Tim and Jared are juniors they will go unless their track
meet will conflict too much. If so, then Aimee and Shawn would go in their
place. Raffle Drawing: The drawing will be on Tuesday at 8:00PM in
the lounge. Bring all the tickets and money there. If for some reason you
can’t make it, turn your tickets and money into Jim before that time. Possible Speaker Steve is going to look for a practicing engineer to give a speech. Possible food and drink may be served. All members will be expected to attend. Web Page Tim will try to put a web page together for Pi Tau Sigma. A link will be put on the ME page and also the organizations page. If you have any pictures from the Pi Tau Sigma activities, please email them to him at tdheiman@tristate.edu. 12/2/03 7:00 - Natalie and Aimee's House Pi Tau Sigma’s dinner on Tuesday went great. Thank you to everyone who brought food, supplies, and helped with cooking. Jimmy held a brief meeting to talk about the cost of nationals and ideas for fundraising. The cost for one person to go to nationals was around 500, and for two people it was around 950. After initiation dues, our account balance is around 200 dollars. It was still unanimous that two people should be sent to nationals. The Evanescence concert we were planning on working was postponed till next year, after nationals. Other fundraising ideas were discussed and we decided to hold a DVD player raffle. Tickets will be sold for 1 dollar or 6 tickets for 5. Natalie will be making the tickets before Christmas break so you will have a chance to sell them to your family and friends back at home.
