TSU Middle College prepares for spring

Student orientation January 4

Student orientation for Tri-State University Middle College will take place on Wednesday, January 4, 2006.  The program will begin at 7 p.m. in Best Hall 229.  All students registered to take classes for spring semester or those who are interested in registering are invited to attend.

“All students enrolled or interested in the program are encouraged to attend orientation,” said Cheryl Thomas, TSU Middle College coordinator.  “Students will have photos taken for their student ID’s, tour the campus and classrooms and receive textbooks and a copy of TSU policies.  They will also receive material on how to access their TSU email accounts so they can communicate with their professors.”

Spring classes for the 2005-2006 school year will begin on TSU’s main campus the week of Monday, January 9, 2006.

Students who want to be a part of the program, which allows high school students to enroll in TSU and take college credit classes either part-time or full-time, should call the university.  It is not too late for students to enroll for spring, but students are encouraged to call as soon as possible to ensure admittance.  The cost to attend Middle College is $100 per credit hour.
