Leadership named for TSU Howe and TSU Kendallville

Tri-State University has announced that Marjorie Reinsch will support both the TSU Howe and TSU Kendallville locations. Reinsch, who has been an employee at TSU since 2002, was recently appointed the Assistant Director of Admission at both new locations.

“This is a way for me to give back to the University and promote something that I believe in,” said Reinsch.  “The School of Professional Studies is a growing opportunity to bring the University to smaller communities.”

According to Reinsch, she is a proponent of the School of Professional Studies because she is also a graduate. In 2005, Reinsch earned her Bachelor’s of Science degree in business administration with a major in management. Prior to being promoted to the assistant director’s position, she served as an admission counselor and administrative assistant at the TSU North campus in Angola.

Both the TSU Howe location, located at Howe Military on S.R. 9 in Howe, and the TSU Kendallville location, located at the Four County Vocational Cooperative building on Dowling St. in Kendallville, have a dual focus. Adult students can enroll in the evening classes and receive a bachelor’s degree. High school students can enroll in the Middle College program, which provides them with a chance to jumpstart their college education by taking college credit courses while still in high school.

“We also want to encourage businesses in the area to utilize our capability to train employees,” added Reinsch.
