tsu hosting concert by brother

Brother, a local favorite band from Fort Wayne, will perform in Tri-State University’s Hershey Hall on Saturday, Nov. 17 from 8-10 p.m.

The event is open to the TSU community and the general public at a cost of one can of food for the TSU Office of Student Life food drive. The food collection will go to the Steuben County food and clothing bank, Project Help, to aid county residents. “This is a great way to help the local community in need, and see live entertainment,” said Director of Student Life Sarah Brown.

Brother has built a reputation as one of the most vocally versatile and talented bands in the state, ranging in style from their rock tempo to their acoustic set. The concert will showcase those abilities with music by bands such as the Eagles and Def Leppard. Doors will open at 7 p.m.

“I am so excited to see Brother perform,” said Katelyn Storms, a second-year sports management major and student worker for the Office of Student Life. “I have heard a lot about them, and am really looking forward to hearing their music. I am so impressed with their fan base, and they have obviously made a name for themselves.”

The Office of Student Life provides a variety of events annually for the enjoyment of TSU students and the public. Brown hopes to host another concert in the spring semester, she said. For more information, contact her in Student Life at 260.665.4173 or browns@tristate.edu.
