TSU Bryan, a branch campus of the Tri-State University School of Professional Studies, will open for spring semester classes on January 1, 2008, at 120 S. Beech St., Bryan, Ohio. Tri-State University’s main campus is in Angola, Ind.

Initial offerings in the newly renovated TSU Bryan facility will include classes in accounting, economics, criminal justice, business, and psychology. With final Ohio Board of Regents approval, TSU Bryan will offer bachelor’s degrees in business administration, applied management, and criminal justice. A full range of other classes and degree programs will be available online.

In keeping with the TSU School of Professional Studies’ mission of providing higher learning opportunities for adults, TSU Bryan will award prior learning credit and accept transfer credit from other universities to support returning adult students. Ongoing discussions with local colleges and universities will take place to develop partnerships and formal articulation agreements to work cooperatively to serve the needs of adults who wish to begin or advance in careers, or enhance skills to keep pace with a complex world.

Classes within the SPS are taught by full-time professionals in specific areas of expertise. Evening, weekend, and online classes are designed to accommodate the schedules of working adults.

TSU representatives will answer questions during an open house and information session at the new TSU Bryan location on Tuesday, Nov. 20, from 6-8 p.m. Information about spring course offerings and services at the campus will be available.
