Area high school students who have passed ISTEP testing and who wish to use the test days to investigate college options are invited to ISTEP Visit Days at Tri-State University Sept. 18-20.
The TSU Office of Admission’s ISTEP Toward TSU program will offer visits from 9 a.m.-1 p.m. during those days. Groups of students can take a tour of the Angola campus, and speak with Office of Admission and Athletic Office representatives.
Some visit days are filling up quickly, and the Office of Admission appreciates the interest of students and looks forward to hosting the visits, said Sherri Grant, enrollment manager for the office. “We have 60 coming Sept. 18 from East Noble High School, and 20 the same day from Lakeland High School (in Noble County),” Grant said. About 20 more students will be registered for the Tuesday visit, and the rest of the visits will be scheduled for Wednesday and Thursday, she said.
High school guidance counselors are encouraged to offer the visit days as an option for the test days. “These dates are opportunities to visit TSU in lieu of being in a study hall while classmates are taking the ISTEP,” she said. “We are very excited to have these students on our campus to show the new buildings and improvements the university continues to make to offer the best possible education.”
