tsu accepting teacher-in-residence applicants

The Tri-State University Franks School of Education, supported by the Lilly Endowment Inc., is now accepting applications for the Teacher-in-Residence program for 2008-2009.

The program, open to teachers in Steuben, DeKalb, Noble, and LaGrange counties in Indiana, Branch and St. Joseph counties in Michigan, and Williams County in Ohio, is designed to enhance instruction, provide innovative opportunities for teaching and mentoring, and encourage collaborative opportunities for students at all grade levels.

The teacher chosen for this program will receive a compensation package equal to his or her current school district salary and benefits package.

Additional information and applications may be obtained through the Tri-State University Franks School of Education office or online at the school’s Web site, tristate.edu/education/soe.cfm. The application deadline is 3 p.m. on April 4.
