Tri-State University’s Student Athletic Advisory Council (SAAC) and the American Cancer Society will present Relay for Life, a 24-hour walk to raise funds for cancer research, on April 12 and 13 beginning at 4 p.m. Saturday and continuing through 5 a.m. on Sunday in Hershey Hall. The event will be TSU’s first as host.
TSU students and student organizations are forming teams for the fundraiser, and invite all students, faculty, and the community to join them. The event will be highlighted by a Survivors Reception at 8:30 p.m. Saturday, followed by the Survivors Lap and Luminary Ceremony. Several other activities will include the frozen T-shirt contest, a cornhole tournament, and a karaoke contest.
Registration for the event begins at 4 p.m. Saturday. To make a donation, visit http://events.cancer.org/rfltristaterfl. Contact Jeigh Krupp at 260.668.0980 or jekrupp@tristate.edu for more information. “Come join the fight at Tri-State Relay for Life,” Krupp said.
