Local residents attending other colleges can take advantage of Tri-State University courses for transfer credit when they return home for the summer.
Students living in the Tri-State University region this summer can take general education courses to fulfill prerequisite program requirements; to protect against full or cancelled fall classes at their home universities; or to escalate their graduation dates. General education courses will be offered at TSU in mathematics (college algebra, calculus I and II); social sciences (psychology, history, sociology, economics); science (chemistry, biology, physics); and English and business, among others.
Students wishing to take TSU summer courses for transfer credit should check with their registrar’s offices or their academic departments at their home schools for pre-approval on the transfer courses. To apply as a non-degree TSU student for the summer, visit www.tristate.edu/admission/applying.cfm. A complete course list can be seen at www.tristate.edu/registrar/webschedule/.
