Tri-State University’s South Bend campus will now be under new leadership. Dr. James Fischer of Granger, Ind. was recently appointed as the campus director.
“I am excited to be a part of Tri State University’s tradition of transformational education,” said Fischer. “I look forward to helping the South Bend branch of School of Professional Studies (SPS) grow in terms of academic excellence, student services, and in student body size.”
Fischer, who has been the Dean of Student Development at Tabor College for last two years and was the Director of Counseling Services at Bethel College for nine years, brings his past collegiate experience to TSU. Fischer received his bachelor’s degree in psychology from Cedarville University and his master’s degree in psychology from Western Seminary. He then went on to receive his Psy.D. in clinical psychology from George Fox University.
