Graduate School Seminar sponsored by Tri-State University

Tri-State University will host a graduate school seminar at 7 p.m. on Wednesday, Oct. 11 in the Witmer Clubhouse at Zollner Golf Club. At the event, several TSU alumni will speak about their graduate school experiences.

“The program is to inform students about the process of applying for graduate school, graduate school choices, what you can do with advanced degrees, and the difference between undergraduate and graduate school,” said Deborah Roemke, Director of Career Services at TSU.

The speakers  will include Nicole Muir, a 2005 criminal justice graduate, who is currently attending Valparaiso Law School and James Gentile, a 2006 computer engineering major, who is attending the University of Notre Dame. The current vice president of First Federal Savings Bank of Angola, Scott Gruner, also an alumnus, will be speaking about working while attending graduate school.  Roger Hawks, chair of Allen School of Engineering will provide information on the Master’s degree in mechanical engineering offered by Tri-State University. Tom Moellering from Indiana Wesleyan University will discuss the requirements, admissions process, and the costs.
