TSU’s Drama Club is presenting Run for Your Wife, a play by Ray Cooney on October 26, 27, & 28, 2006. Performances begin at 7:30 pm in Wells Theater in Taylor Hall.
In Run for Your Wife, a taxi driver in London, John, is brought home to his wife after having had a concussion. The problem is that he has been brought home to the wrong wife. John attempts to keep his two wives and the police from finding out about his secret. As lies compound upon lies, hilarity ensues. NOTE: Adult situations and language occur within this play.
Nicole Stimac, a recent graduate in management information systems, directs the cast comprised of Patrick Briscoe, a sophomore arts & sciences major, as John; Kevin Dahlstrom, a junior mechanical engineering major, as Stanley; Heather Braun, a junior elementary education major, as Mary; and Nicole Stimac a recent graduate in management information systems, as Barbara. The cast is rounded out by Jordan Rippy, a junior forensic science major, Keith Gassman, a sophomore arts and sciences major, and David Immel, first-year student. Leslie Erlenbaugh, a senior English major stage manages the production, and Scott Crawford, a junior electrical engineering major, provides technical direction.
Admission is free to Tri-State students, faculty, and staff, and $3 for the general public. Tickets can be picked up at the door 30 minutes before each performance, and seating will begin promptly at 7 p.m. Run for Your Wife is presented by special arrangement with Samuel French, Inc. The Drama Club is a student organization of Tri-State University whose main purpose is to present dramatic works each semester for the entertainment of the community. Members of Drama Club produce all aspects of the shows.
